Supernova Press is a traditional publisher which means an author like you sends us your work, and if we choose to partner with you, we work to publish the novel at no cost to you. (You even get royalties.) But the publishing industry seems to focus less on what works for authors, and more on what works for them. We’re changing that. As an author-focused company, we’re doing things differently. Join us!

In standard submissions to bigger companies, it often feels like you’re at the mercy of huge, overly-critical giants who don’t care enough to email back. Those days are over. When you submit to Supernova Press, know that we’re working for you, not the other way around, and our goal is to turn writers into authors.

Oh, and we’ve also overhauled our submissions process so that you can spend more time writing and less time worrying about your CV and chapter synopses. Take a look!

A Perfect Fit

We’re looking to work with authors who write high-concept fiction that would be described as “out-of-this-world, super unique, and never-before-thought-of.” Hopefully, your story forces us to feel something; whether it be, joy, fear, loathing, or sadness; and the first thought we have is, “Why didn’t I write this first?” If your novel makes us think about something, and is so powerful that we want to discuss it with someone, it’s a perfect fit. Send it to us! We don’t publish picture books, self-help books, Christian fiction, or solely erotic novels. We publish non-fiction sparingly, and memoirs even more sparingly, but send them to us anyway.

How Do You Get Your Story To Us?

Due to an extreme influx in submissions, Supernova Press is currently closed to submissions until 2024. Any work submitted during this time will not be considered for publication, but please feel free to submit once we’ve reopened submission again in the new year!
