We’re Unleashing the Power of Story
Changing the World
As a publisher that strives for innovation, we’re not afraid to do things differently. We believe in human rights, literary freedom, and shattering the status-quo.
Unleashing Story
If we have a great story, we want everyone to know about it. Everyone. And in this digital age, that’s exactly how we’re unleashing stories on the world.
Story for Everyone
We’re a champion for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and minority populations in Canada, and we’re working to have our novels be fully accessible by 2025. How are we doing it?
For Writers, Always
Writers are the backbone of the publishing world, and we intend to treat them as such. Check out our submission guidelines to learn how we’ll collaborate with you.
Who We Are & Why We’re Different
Supernova Press is an indie, digital-first, author-focused publishing company based out of The Battlefords that specializes in high-concept, thought-provoking fiction that challenges the status quo, tackles controversial topics, and sparks conversation. The world deserves a publishing company worthy of the 21st century and we are the difference. Be the difference with us. Be a supernova.
We Say, We Do
In our modern world, it is essential to use your voice. We believe in human rights, literary freedom, and we’ll stand up for what’s right. Our mission? Oh, we’ll tell you.
We Love Writers
We are one of the first publishing companies with almost NO submission guidelines so that we can be as accessible to emerging authors as possible. What else are we doing?
A Modern Publisher
We leverage eBooks, social media, and the internet to connect the world with stories that deserve to be told. How is Supernova Press going to be the difference? What are our plans?
Changing the World
To ensure a clean, healthy earth for future generations, our novels are printed as soon as they’re ordered. What else are we doing to offset the Climate Crisis? Read more.
Inclusive/Accessible
We’re a champion for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and minority populations in Canada, and we’re working to have our novels be fully accessible by 2023. How are we doing it?
Hi, Nice to Meet You!
I’m Miguel Fenrich
Connect With Me!
If you don’t know me, I’m the Owner and Publisher of Supernova Press. I was born and raised in rural (or almost rural), Saskatchewan, Canada, and currently live and work on Treaty 6 Territory west of Saskatoon.
I’m currently serving as the Vice-President of the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild and work as the Communications Coordinator for the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan. A former Editor of the Battlefords Regional News-Optimist, you can read some of my award-winning journalism at www.sasktoday.ca
I created Supernova Press in March 2022 to build an author-focused, genre publishing company that the world deserves in the 21st century. I also believe that if we let dialogue and literacy expression die, society is doomed. Shatter the status quo and get talking!
And a few facts about myself: I don’t have a favourite colour, the best word ever is synchronicity, my favourite day is either May 9th, or October 17th, and these are the songs I’m currently obsessed with:

Individual Responsibility: a Freeform Poem
We, as individuals, are cynical. We are blameless, we say, bystanders, we say. The same old days in and out, in and out, in and out, an endless malaise. The final flush circles the drain. We cower back, scared to take on a solemn responsibility passed generation by...
